go to the court house and see who they bought from--
if the minerals were released to the one that you
bought from and they did not retain- then you have your minerals--the reason i am telling you to go back
further than you buying is because i just dealt with some paperwork for someone that sold and retained- when they sold. then that couple sold-they gave the minerals to the buyer- but they never had the minerals to give away- so a
lease was located where the last buyer has been drawing royalties off the land for 8 yrs now- he thought he had them because it was in his paperwork
