The Brenner est. well, serial #237811 was completed 09/07/2008 and reported an IP of 10,191 mcfd on Sonris on 10/15/2008. It is now one year later. Is it possible to find out what it is producing now? Where would one find that information or is it confidential? Thanks.

any of you guys with water lines running across your property, care to share what the range of compensation is?

jay, i mean if you are between the unit and the pond, and they run surface lines across your property and you are not in the unit, dont they need to pay the surface owner something?i was told that was how they were doing it in shelby county.

o.k. thanks jay.

ShaleGeo,

I have a quick question for you if you would be so kind. I know you have posted this answer already. What is the total production for the first year of the some earlier Haynesville wells drilled? I believe they were in excess of 1 BCF. Correct me if I'm wrong. I sure appreciate it.
Mr. Berman is getting pressure from industry it appears. From his blog "Petroleum Truth Report" yesterday, Nov. 2:

Pressure from Petrohawk helps cancell World Oil column

In an act of extraordinary courage, a top Petrohawk executive threatened to cancel his free subscription to World Oil if the magazine continued to publish my column. Today, John Royall, President and CEO for Gulf Publishing, cancelled my November column.

I have accordingly resigned as contributing editor.

Nice. Thanks Jay.
I don't see CHK as the operator in any of those wells. Just wondering if CHK is missing something. Seems like Petrohawk and Exco sure have figured it out.
There we go, that's good to know. They definitely are doing a great job up here in the Marcellus. I was out on a Nomac rig the other day and it's sure a site to see.
They may not have fallen off the turnip truck but it sure seems some of their competition has consistantly higher IP rates. If my well is going to decline 85% in year 2, I'd rather be paid on 15% of 20,000 MCFD IP than 10,000 MCFD IP. JMO.
Jay,
We will soon see... Chesapeak has 20 units just south of Elm Grove, in 15N, 11W. As these are developed, we will see if CHK can hit the high numbers too.
Jay,

Is your opinion of ECA as high as CHK and HK?
We've had this discussion before, but I'm wondering if CHK is still who you would choose to drill your well.

Or do you think it is pretty much a toss up between CHK, HK and EXCO.

How about your ranking?

Or do you think it is strickly location, location, location (with a competent company)?
