Pipeline Easement

What recourse does one have when the pipeline was placed outside of the easement?

have oil & gas attorney review easement contract and location placed you may be intitled to damages

Any ideas on what would be a reasonable offer of settlement? One has already been made, but owner feels it is not worth responding to the offer because it is so low.

how many rods length of pipe run was out side the easement?

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of) nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
