Shelby County
EOG Resources completed the Watkins Well No. 1to 14,900 feet 5.7 miles northeast of Center in the North Carthage Field. On a 24/64-inch choke the well potentialed 3.550 million cubic feet of gas in the Bossier Shale.

This is a horizontal (even though there is no H in the name) well originally permitted 1-15-09. API# 419-31427 is located in the J. Forsythe, A-203 survey.

This is not good news for northeast Shelby when compared to the Harvey 1 which is within spitting distance of this and the EOG walker 1. Just hope EOG had problems with this one like CHK had with the Harvey 1. If the Walker 1 is as bad as these two we are in trouble in northeast Shelby. Any comments.
grumpy, I don't know. It's just what the paper reported and the G-1 isn't posted on RRC yet. It could be months before it shows up. Just keep in mind the way EOG reported the Gammage #1 over in Nac... They reported an IP of 2.3 million cfd in October and then reported it again at 10 million plus this month. Both wells were permitted vertical and horizontal so your guess is as good as mine.
