Northwest Louisiana & Haynesville Shale Gas Production Charts (2/12/2010)

Attached two sets of gas production graphs.

The first set of graphs depict historical natural gas production for Louisiana, the Shreveport District (NW La) and the 8 parishes in the Haynesville Shale region.  The largest increases since mid-2008 primarily occurred in DeSoto, Red River, Caddo & Bossier Parishes.  You can see the impact the switch to Haynesville Shale drilling had on both the State and Shreveport District production.

The second set of graphs address only the Haynesville Shale production in Louisiana and Texas and the combined total for both states.

Les, nice charts. I see that DeSoto has more than twice the production of the next best parish. Is this due to the huge number of CV wells that the other parishes do not have? Do you have charts for HA gas production for the 8 Louisiana parishes?
FXEF, the production in DeSoto Parish is probably about 70% from the Haynesville Shale which was the source for the large increase starting in mid-2008.

Unfortunately the State does not provide enough information to show Haynesville Shale production by parish.
