Again, from one of my reliable sources:  The Shale is over 200 ft thick on the county line between Nac & San Augustine.  Very high pressure reported.

This came from a drilling supervisor on a rig. I'm hesitant to say who/where. I don't want the info flow to stop. Who knows, YOU could be that guys boss!
Completely understood, j garrett. No, not anyones boss just a really old guy with unleased minerals and dirt along the S. portion of the river. Hell, Im so old Im afraid to hold out more than 2-3 days on any of these ole boys lease offers. HA!
Reallyyoldguy is this any where close to abstract 139 this is where my property is. cabot just permit the well this month. please give me some info please
jerry smith cant say that I know where the A-139 is, for sure, right off hand. If memory serves me correctly the A-139 is a pretty good ways N.E. of me. Maybe 7-10 mls or so
You are correct. A-139 is on the Shelby County line... miles away.
FYI where the skillern and sublett is.... Get ready for alot more action

Checkmateking,
Do you know what the thicknes is in Desoto Parish???
approximately 180-220 feet, but if you are in DeSoto you have nothing to worry about.
Checkmateking,
What is the difference between Desoto Parrish thickness at 180-220 feet and the west side of San Augustine at 200 feet? Appears to be none.
