Does anyone know what the different color of survey flags represent? Like orange, blue, pink.

Or is it different for each company?

orange tends to be property or section corners. pink tend to be waypoints, blue is usually to mark water lines.
thanks
A geo seismic company used blue to mark where they are going to run their lines.

(FYI, when asked under what authority the seismic co entered the property...so far they have been unable to produce anything. They are entering properties, crossing unit lines with their lines, trying to pay landowners peanuts and then selling the data to the oil companies for big $$'s)
