Does anyone have an update on the well being drilled in 34-12-9? It has been going quietly for about 3 weeks now.

Jeff, unfortunately Sonris is not providing any information on this well even though it spud on 4/9/10.

Centerpoint Field Services will probably have to finish laying their new system south of Hwy 71 before the well can be fracture stimulated.

Hang in the Jeff. We are in 36 t12n r9w so you are closer to getting there than we are. Although the oil spill in the gulf was very tragic and still is. I hear more and more about pushing natural gas since that happened. Things might turn around for the shale very soon. God Bless the workers on that offshore rig and their families

Patience is a virtue, one that I was not blessed with. I expect in the next 5 or so years things will look a good bit different around here. I cant help but think of all of the people who lived and died on this land and never had any idea of what it has done and will do for their children and grandchildren. This will truly be proven to be a great blessing. Good luck to you all.

Jeff, Sonris shows this well as drilling past 14000 ft. It may be close to total depth by now.

Yes, I noticed that as well. Sounds great. I wonder how long until a pipeline is in place. Shell doesn't seem eager to lease any more though. I guess we are on our own on this one.

Note I have added copies of both well permits incuding the well plats.

The permit for the Lem Jones 15 H1 Well is particularly interesting because it includes the proposed well design and a listing of the geologic formations with depths.
