Can one of you local guys take a look at the C Hereford survey (Section A-17)? I met with a landman (landlady?) yesterday when my mother-in-law signed her lease, and the landlady said that a pad is being cleared north of 103, about 1.5 miles east of 705. This will not be on the road - maybe 3/4 mile north of 103. Encana should be the one getting ready to drill.

I saw the road you are talking about Steve. It looks like there has been a lot of traffic in and out of there. Also lots of Seismic stakes down 103 and also down 705. I also heard a pipeline is going in just north of where 705 and 147 intersect.
OK, pad site is confirmed. Rock is going in today and the well will be another Black Stone (A-17 is my guess).
Inching a little closer to being south of 103. Maybe one more year and they will be there...haha
Oh I think that IF they make a big well there it could happen much sooner than that.
That is what I am waiting on! Come on down 705.

Lots of guys were surveying on FM 705 about 1 to 1 1/2 miles south of 103 on Sunday afternoon. Maybe Seitel Data?
Come on Encana. Make a biggun. San Augustine and Sabine counties are going to make some noise.
Yes 5th Gen that is Seitel.
Shouldn't they be permitting this site pretty soon?
It probably won't be too long.
So where is this pad goin to be??? I have land on 3279
I attempted to describe the location on Page 3 of this discussion. I don't know if 3279 is still called that north of 103, but as I understand it the site is maybe 3/4 of a mile north of 103 on what could be 3279.
I have heard from a couple of people that gravel trucks have been seen going and coming in this area Steve.
