I'd rather have a Haynesville Shale well a quarter-mile from my home than one of those monstrosities!
The noise caused and the shadow cast by the windmill would drive me insane.
Of course they have issues and they shoud have issues.

Obama/democrats with their hatred of fossil fuels have embraced wind power as something clean, neat and wonderful. But, anyone can see what a blight on the landscape these things are. I mean, it's really comical how Obama's hatred of the oil and gas industry has blinded him and his comrades to common sense...and, even truely blinded his vision.

What a beautiful view! Nature! Here we are out in the country. Hey, we've got to preserve this! Put up huge windmills. Gee, that's great. Now maybe we don't have to let those oil industry people drill. We're smart. We're cool. High five, man! Let's going dancing!

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
