*****If the oil and gas companies fraudulently tender royalty statements and checks to the federal government, who they know have unlimited financial resources and government attorneys to prosecute a civil  lawsuit, what will they attempt to do to the individual land or mineral owner?*****

SUGGESTION:  Include in your lease a breach of contract/fraud paragraph addressing attorney fees if the mineral owner prevails in litigation. The awarding of attorney fees may depend on state breach of contract law but if both parties agree best to have it included in your lease. Consult your attorney.
