Airline Baptist Church, which is a few miles north of 220 on Airline just agreed to lease for 16K per acre with .25 royalties.

well, your wife was wrong....I'm on the o/g committee at ABC and we didn't get 16,000 per acre....that's how rumors get started.

Red River is leasing for Chesapeake along Benton Road north of I220. $4,000 to $5,500 per acre with .25 royalties. They're about all done.

How far north of I-220? I live about 4 miles north of I-220 off of Airline Drive. T19N-R13W. How far North has the offers go?

VSP, I live about the same distance north of I220, but off Benton Rd. I leased mine 2 1/2 yrs ago. They plan to drill for Cotton Valley gas. I'm wondering if Haynesville Shale extends that far. No drilling or production yet in my area (section 19), same T19N R13W as you. I've read that churches along Airline have leased up about as far as Brownlee Rd and along Benton Rd to near Rebouche Rd.
