Can one of you local guys take a look at the C Hereford survey (Section A-17)? I met with a landman (landlady?) yesterday when my mother-in-law signed her lease, and the landlady said that a pad is being cleared north of 103, about 1.5 miles east of 705. This will not be on the road - maybe 3/4 mile north of 103. Encana should be the one getting ready to drill.

Julie,

Thanks as always for the info.  Do we know if the well has been fracced and tested?  Or is that what you mean by "completion"?  I haven't seen any news releases on test results and would appreciate you passing along anything you hear.  Gracias.

We can hear the engines running on the frac units and have seen the diesel fuel tankers coming in and a few schlumberger trucks going and coming. Now they are running a fresh water line. from 147 and 103.
Thanks for the update ronda and bruce.  Keep us posted.
Did you go check on the seismograph crew last weekend?  I've been swapping computers so I may not be up to date on everything.
There were cables starting where 705 cuts off 147. They went South down 705 to where the Gov't land starts.  Cables were strung across our pastures.  Not sure what they are doing back down there since they shot it back in Nov.  I will try to find out.  Anyone have any ideas?
They ran cables on last day of deer season (Jan. 2nd) and picked up cables on MLK Day on our property next to National Forest on FM705.
Maybe they are heading your way 5thGenTexan.
Looks like schlumbeger's frac pumping trucks are done on location. Have seen 4 leaving today.
Does anyone know if this is one of the wells Exxon has in the JV with Encana? In their Q&A on earnings, they talked about sharing some of their knowledge with Encana in Haynesville.
I believe the answer is yes; it is, I believe a part of the joint venture.
I have a suspicion this well will come in strong. They finish the frac on the 1st, and on the 10th Encana shows up on TRRC applying for THREE wells pretty close to this one. That makes four permit applications for Encana in the last two weeks in this area. No other company is applying for permits like Encana right now.
Thanks Steve.  Hopefully we will hear something from the A-17 pretty soon.  Hopefully Encana will stay active even though things are slowing down.
