Thanks, Colyell57

TMS, maybe, and all other formations including the Haynesville Shale, if you can produce from them is another story.
That's what I've heard... I know of a well N of my moms house off the S Satsuma Road just about 3 miles r so  that a company?  Came by in a big truck to put mud? In the well a couple years ago!! This was on Crown Zellerbach/weyerheauser land. Just curious.  We all at some time ago in the 90's leased with Chesapeake!!!! It used to be numerous big  cars  all time going up there on the roads. Big trucks with derricks, etc in and out there all the time!
So sorry about my wording on this site!! But  I am eager for information as to what lies in, around and under our lands because I 've always heard of the AC and TMS in this Livingston Parish area.
We are in section 14, township 7, range 4 east.  Thanks, Colyell57
Hi Colyell 57, I have been trying to get info as well. Joe Algridge has been kind enough to pass on what he knows. So I will pass on what I know at this point: First of all, I have 10 acres in Albany (which is in Livingston Parish). We are in the TMS but apparently in an overlapping part called the Austin Chalk. On Feb. 28th., Green Bear came out to request that I sign for a seismic survey to be done on my property. I did sign and was told that it would start in 2 weeks. No sign of them yet! I was told that in this phase they were looking for properties that are 10 acres or larger. They survey is to encompass 75 square miles. He said that it goes into Springfield and stops at Blood River Road. I called Green Bear's office and was told that the company ordering the survey is Highland Texas Energy. My concern is that not enough people are signing and any further progress may be held up. If anyone has any other info I would appreciate any news I can get. I also join another group on this site called Austin Chalk. You may wish to do the same. I hope this helps a little. Ilona

Thanks so much!  I was hoping for more seismic in this area off South Satsuma Road... My sister lives on the Oliver Wheat Road and they were contacted around last years holidays??? It may have been New years eve.  Can't remember too much lately!  Good luck to you! And what road in Albany do you live?? If you don't mind me asking...
Off of Old Baton Rouge Hwy. Was seismic ever done on your sister's property? If so, was she given any results? I was told that if all goes well with my survey that leasing would start soon after(of course I'm sure they will say anything to get a signature)!
Sorry I lost my post I was typing! I am not for sure but I do know that they are receiving royalty checks from a well on her father n laws property next to her!  A well is on his property.. He has a lot of acreage!
By the way, my sister lives near the old CECOS plant about a mile from it! And I live about 2 r 3 miles sw of her!!
Good for them! I would love to see a well on my place sooooooon!!!!
Sorry I lost my post again!  I am using an IPhone and the battery is about to go dead!!!!  But I have a few old maps showing the GAYLORD container areas!  In this area.  There was seismic  activity in 1995 on here and was told by my neighbor they left some markers??? Back there!!
