Ellis County

The S-16 Well No. 1 will be drilled by Atmos Energy Corp., Mid-Tex Division to 280 feet four miles east of Palmer in a wildcat field. The well is in the R. Pena Survey, A-3.

Freestone County

XTO Energy will drill the Henderson Gas Unit Well No. 36 to 12,500 feet five miles southeast of Teague in the Teague (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field. This well will be drilled in the J. Lawrence Survey, A-364 and may be drilled in the Teague (Travis Peak or Pettit B) Fields.

XTO Energy will drill the Webb A Well No. 24 and the Webb A Well No. 25 in the Dew (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field.

The No. 24 will hit 13,800 feet 6.4 miles northeast of Donie. The No. 25 will hit 14,000 feet 6.2 miles northeast of Donie. Both wells are in the H.C. Cook Survey, A-118.

Gregg County

The A.J. Tuttle Gas Unit Well No. 6H will be drilled to 15,000 feet four miles northwest of Longview in the Willow Springs (Cotton Valley) Field. J-W Operating will drill this well in the P.P. Rains Survey, A-258.

Johnson County

The East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field will see Chesapeake Operating drill two wells to 9,000 feet. The Kennedy Well No. 1H and the Kennedy Well No. 2H will be drilled within the city limits of Cleburne in the T. Harlow Survey, A-335.

Devon Energy will drill five wells in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field.

The James James Well No. 2H, No. 3H, No. 4H, No. 5H and No. 6H will hit 9,000 feet 12.4 miles northeast of Cleburne in the A. Futhey Survey, A-277.

Devon Energy will drill six additional wells to 9,000 feet in the MEP&P RR Co. Survey, A-1037.

The John Edward King Well No. 24H and No. 25H are 10.2 miles southwest of Cleburne. The John Edward King Well No. 27H, No. 28H, No. 29H and No. 30H are 10.5 miles southwest of Cleburne.

Leon County

The Lipsey - C- Well No. 4 will be drilled nine miles southeast of Oakwood in the Navarro Crossing (Woodbine) Field. Brooks Petroleum will drill this well to 9,000 feet in the H.W. Sublett Survey, A-779.

Limestone County

XTO Energy will drill four new wells in the Farrar (Cotton Valley Lime) Field.

The Carpenter Gas Unit II Well No. 14 will hit 13,500 feet four miles southwest of Farrar.

The Jeff Thomas Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 28 is 4.2 miles southwest of Donie. Both wells are in the M.C. Rejon Survey, A-26.

The Beddingfield Gas Unit Well No. 12 and the Beddingfield Gas Unit Well No. 13 are 17.8 miles southeast of Groesbeck in the M.C. Rejon Survey, 26. These two wells may be drilled in the Farrar (Travis Peak) Field or the Farrar, Southeast (Pettit) Field.

Nacogdoches County

The Jenkins Unit Well No. 1H will be drilled to 14,500 feet 3.1 miles south of Woden in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field by EOG Resources. The well is in the P. De Torres Survey, A55.

XTO Energy will drill the Westerners (SL) DU Well No. 1HB in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. This well will hit 14,200 feet two miles northeast of Chireno in the Jose Ignacio Y'Barbo Survey, A-60.

Navarro County

A wildcat field will see the V-57 Well No. 1 drilled by Atmos Energy to 280 feet. This well is 12.6 miles southwest of Corsicana in the J. Smith Survey, A-771.

Panola County

Classic Operating will drill the Werner-Micher Well No. 5H in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field to 13,500 feet 3.6 miles northwest of Joaquin in the M. Carpenter Survey, A-921.

The CGU 12 Well No. 51HH will be drilled to 12,000 feet five miles northwest of Carthage in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field by Anadarko E&P. This well is in the J.A. White Survey, A-749.

Robertson County

The Bald Prairie (Cotton Valley Consoildated) Field will see the Mitchell Gas Unit II Well No. 29 drilled to 14,300 feet 10.3 miles northeast of Franklin by XTO Energy. The well is in the O. Denson Survey, A-126.

The Fato Well No. 1 will be drilled by Burlington Resources to 7,600 feet 9.3 miles southeast of Franklin in the Ici (Georgetown) Field. This well is in the A. Rhinehart Survey, A-314 and may be drilled in a wildcat field.

XTO Energy will drill six new wells in the Bald Prairie (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field.

  The Karraker Gas Unit Well No. 2 will hit 13,400 feet 5.2 miles northwest of Franklin in the H. Reed Survey, A-35.

  The Merryman Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 11 will hit 14,300 feet 8.8 miles northeast of Franklin in the O. Denson Survey, A-126.

  The Pye Gas Unit Well No. 3 will hit 15,300 feet 2.9 miles northwest of Franklin in the H.J.A. Hill Survey, A-173.

  The Sanders Gas Unit Well No. 6 will hit 15,200 feet 3.5 miles northwest of Franklin in the H.J.A. Hill Survey, A-173.

  The Taylor Gas Unit Well No. 4 will hit 13,800 feet 4.5 miles west of Franklin in the H. Reed Survey, A-35.

  The Wallingford Gas Unit Well No. 5 will be drilled 3.3 miles southwest of Franklin in the H.J.A. Hill Survey, A-173.

Rusk County

In a lease eight miles southeast of Henderson in the Minden (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field NFR Energy will drill the Little Estate Well No. 6H to 11,646 feet in the J. Gilbert Survey, A-325.

San Augustine County

The Aggie DU Well No. 1H will be drilled to 19,500 feet 3.2 miles southeast of Chireno in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. XTO Energy will drill the well in the A. Gray Survey, A-640.

Exco Operating will drill the Park SU Well No. 1H and the Silas SU Well No. 1H in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field to 15,000 feet.

  The Park SU Well No. 1H is 3.8 miles northeast of Chireno in the J.B. Parks Survey, A-227.

  The Silas SU Well No. 1H is nine miles northwest of Chireno in the E. Adams Survey, A-330.

The Angie (James Lime) Field will see the Howard GU 1 Well No. 1H will be drilled by Southwestern Energy to 7,560 feet 7.5 miles northeast of Attoyac. The well is in the S.L. Howard Survey, A-162.

Shelby County

In a lease 3.2 miles northwest of Joaqui, in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field, the Spurlock Well No. 1H will be drilled by Classic Operating to 13,500 feet in the L. Maragle Survey, A-459.

Tarrant County

Chesapeake Operating will drill six new wells to 9,000 feet in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field.

The Gaylord Texan Well No. 1H and the Gaylord Texan Well No. 2H are within the city limits of Grapevine in the E. Moore Survey, A-1029.

The Claneco A Well No. 6H is within the city limits of Fort Worth in the T.K. Hamby Survey, A-815.

The Leaf Well No. 3H is within the city limits of North Richland Hills in the L.C. Walker Survey, A-1652.

The Westcliff Well No. 8H is within the city limits of Fort Worth in the T. McCanne Survey, A-1033.

The Links Well No. 5H is within the city limits of Arlington in the W. Welch Survey, A-1668.

COMPLETIONS

Freestone County

The Kirsch Gas Unit Well No. 32 was completed by XTO Energy to 12,290 feet 5.7 miles east of Teague in the Teague Field. On a 22/64-inch choke the well potentialed 2.301 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated.

On a 10/64-inch choke the Gail King Well No. 19H potentialed 269,000 cubic feet of gas. XTO Energy completed the well to 17,515 feet 6.8 miles northwest of Jewett in the Bear Grass Field. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.

XTO Energy completed eight new wells. The first six are in the Teague Field.

  The Oma McMichael Gas Unit Well No. 4 hit 12,495 feet 2.2 miles southeast of Teague and potentialed 943,000 cubic feet of gas on a 24/64-inch choke.

  The Penn-Senter Gas Unit Well No. 5 hit 3.7 miles southwest of Teague and potentialed 1.276 million cubic feet of gas on a 20/64-inch choke.

  The Henderson Gas Unit Well No. 32 hit 11,975 feet 5.2 miles southeast of Teague and potentialed 842,000 cubic feet of gas on a 24/64-inch choke.

  The Henderson Gas Unit Well No. 33 hit 12,150 feet 5.4 miles southeast of Teague and potentialed 5.310 million cubic feet of gas on a 18/64-inch choke.

  The Roper Gas Unit Well No. 7 hit 12,754 feet one mile northeast of Teague and potentialed 1.190 million cubic feet of gas on a 26/64-inch choke.

  The Kirsch Gas Unit Well No. 35 hit 11,965 feet 5.2 miles east of Teague and potentialed 3.272 million cubic feet of gas on a 20/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated.

  The Wilburn Well No. 8 hit 12,447 feet 5.1 miles southeast of Teague in the Freestone Field and potentialed 976,000 cubic feet of gas on a 14/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated.

  The H.L. & P. Gas Unit Well No. 32 hit 14,068 feet 2.3 miles southeast of Donie in the Bear Grass Field and potentialed 1.317 million cubic feet of gas on a 12/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.

Gregg County

XTO Energy completed the Spear Well No. 1 to 10,958 feet 6.3 miles north of Longview in the Willow Springs Field. On a 48/64-inch choke the well potentialed 19,000 cubic feet of gas on a 48/64-inch choke. Production is in the West Cotton Valley formation.

Harrison County

Anadarko E&P completed the Letourneau Gas Unit 6 Well No. 28HH to 17,237 feet 18.4 miles southwest of Marshall in the Carthage Field. On a 18/64-inch choke the well potentialed 7.100 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.

Hill County

EOG Resources completed two wells in the East Newark Field. On a 64/64-inch choke the Haney Well No. 2H potentialed 2.179 million cubic feet of gas. The well was completed to 12,786 feet 2.5 miles northwest of Woodbury.

On a 64/64-inch choke the Haney Well No. 7H potentialed 2.376 million cubic feet of gas and was completed to 12,990 feet 2.5 miles northwest of Woodbury. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

Johnson County

The Cathy Ann Tindall Well No. 3H and the Odis McGee Gas Unit Well No. 4H were completed in the East Newark

  The No. 3H hit 11,712 feet 10.1 miles northeast of Cleburne and potentialed 4.937 million cubic feet of gas on an open choke.

  The No. 4H hit 12,622 feet 18 miles northeast of Cleburne and potentialed 3.639 million cubic feet of gas on an open choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

Spindletop Oil & Gas completed the Poston Well No. 1 to 6,754 feet one mile northwest of Godley in the East Newark Field. On a 14/64-inch choke the well potentialed 252,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

The East Newark Field has seen Chesapeake Operating complete the Hog A Well No. 4H to 15,090 feet 13.1 miles north of Cleburne. On a .75-inch choke the well potentialed 11.226 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

Leon County

XTO completed the Newell "A" Well No. 5 to 9,700 feet 7.1 miles west of Jewett in the Bear Grass Field. On a 48/64-inch choke the well potentialed 230,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Pettit.

On a 19/64-inch choke the Gail King Well No. 50H potentialed 11.359 million cubic feet of gas. XTO Energy completed this well to 17,835 feet in the Bear Grass Field 6.5 miles northwest of Jewett. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.

Limestone County

The Standley Gas Unit No. 2 Well No. 3 was completed by XTO Energy in the Farrar Field. This well hit 13,700 feet 14.9 miles southeast of Groesbeck and potentialed 278,000 cubic feet of gas on a 64/64-inch choke. Production is in the Travis Peak.

XTO Energy completed three additional wells.

  The S.J. Harlow Gas Unit Well No. 15 hit 12,750 feet 13.8 miles southeast of Groesbeck and potentialed 2.019 million cubic feet of gas on a 22/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated.

  The Gibson Well No. 19 and the Lyons Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 25 were completed in the Farrar Field. The No. 19 hit 12,822 feet 15.9 miles southeast of Groesbeck and potentialed 1.636 million cubic feet of gas on a 48/64-inch choke.

  The No. 25 hit 13,550 feet 3.8 miles southwest of Donie and potentialed 1.367 million cubic feet of gas on a 8/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Lime.

Nacogdoches County

Exco Operating completed the Walker SU A Well No. 1H to 19,675 feet 5.3 miles southwest of Chireno in the Carthage Field. On a 26/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 26.480 million cubic feet of gas. This well is in the Haynesville Shale.

Panola County

Samson Lone Star completed the Twomey Heirs Well No. 2H to 14,715 10.5 miles southeast of Carthage in the Southeast Carthage Field. On a 54/64-inch choke the well potentialed 10.504 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.

XTO Energy completed the New Horizons Well No. E1H to 18,419 feet 8.8 miles northwest of Beckville in the Carthage Field. On a 16/64-inch choke the well potentialed 6.064 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.

Robertson County

On a 17/64-inch choke the Cazey Unit Well No. 2 potentialed 18.250 million cubic feet of gas. EnCana Oil & Gas completed this well to 17,087 feet 5.7 miles east of Franklin in the Bald Prairie Field in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.

The Corry Gas Unit Well No. 2 was completed by XTO Energy to 14,300 feet 8.2 miles northeast of Franklin in the Bald Prairie Field. The well potentialed 739,000 cubic feet of gas on a 20/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.

San Augustine County

Exco Operating completed the Patterson SU Well No. 1H to 17,316 feet 4.8 miles northeast of Chireno in the Carthage Field. The well potentialed 7.419 million cubic feet of gas on a 14/64-inch choke. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.

Shelby County

Goodrich Petroleum completed the R Dean Hay GU Well No. 1H to 16,215 feet in Jaquin in the Carthage Field. On a 18/64-inch choke the well potentialed 5.522 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.

XTO Energy completed the Huskies DU Well No. 1H in the Carthage Field. This well hit 17,664 feet five miles southeast of Shelbyville. On a 14/64-inch choke the well potentialed 6.958 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.

Tarrant County

Carrizo Oil & Gas completed six wells in the East Newark Field.

  The Rice LOH A Unit Well No. 5H hit 13,327 feet within the city limits of Arlington and potentialed 4.125 million cubic feet of gas on a 36/64-inch choke.

  The Pantego A Unit Well No. 3H hit 10,940 feet within the city limits of Pantego and potentialed 2.803 million cubic feet of gas on a 24/64-inch choke.

  The Pantego A Unit Well No. 7H hit 10,804 feet within the city limits of Pantego and potentialed 2.193 million cubic feet of gas on a 28/64-inch choke.

  The Pantego B Unit Well No. 5H hit 11,438 feet within the city limits of Pantego and potentialed 3.061 million cubic feet of gas on a 28/64-inch choke.

  The Pantego B Unit Well No. 6H hit 11,102 feet within the city limits of Pantego and potentialed 3.458 million cubic feet of gas on a 26/64-inch choke.

  The Pantego B Unit Well No. 8H hit 12,313 feet within the city limits of and potentialed 3.250 million cubic feet of gas on a 28/64-inch choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

Chesapeake Operating completed a new well in the East Newark Field. The Fulson Well No. 1H hit 13,960 feet 1.3 miles northeast of Webb and potentialed 4.351 million cubic feet of gas on a .75-inch choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

I've attached a list of all permits approved in an Eagle Ford field last week.  I wouldn't expect this to be a regular feature as it would almost be a full time job to keep up with.  But I did give it a try.
