Just wanted to let everyone know that Will-Drill drilled a well near FlatLake (7 miles from our property) in North Webster parish (don't know the STR yet) & as it turns out, it is a good one. I know someone who lives in that area and he just happens to work for a drilling co. (not the one that drilled this well). Anyway, he knows two guys that worked on this well and another guy who works w/ Haliburton. Haliburton fracked this well and word is there was a lot there and it is considered a good find. Rep. from an oil company call the other day wanting us to get landowners together. He said he needs 640 acres before he can lease. The problem is a lot of the land around there has been spot leased by speculators or landmen. Anybody on here have land in north webster and interested----write me.

The Location is off of Webster Parish road 265
Thanks Tim,

Keep me posted as I don't live there so it's not easy to keep up. Just so you know, someone posted a comment that this well is a sand unit well, not the shale---whatever that means.

Have you received any offers on the property in Webster Parish?  I have property in Minden (Dorcheat location).

Are they drilling in that area?  I was offered a deal in 2008, but refused that deal.  I live out of town but will there in August for a class reunion.  I would like some information before I get there so I can be prepared to talk with someone involved.

If you have any information, let me know, please.

Thanks

My goodness, I saw leasing in Webster Parish and got all excited, then, for some reason I looked at the date.  Three years ago.  I had already got out the J.C. Penny catalog and had a pair of shoes picked out.  Darn it. lol
