I thought the attached G-1 and G-5 would be interesting to some folks.  G-1 has the completion information - looks like acid fracs and therfore the target is the limestone formations.

24 hour production is 479 bbl of 42.8 API gravity condensate or oil.  1179 bbls of water with that.  Note this is a vertical completion across multiple, thick zones.

Maybe I need to get Joe Aldrige to look at this, but it looks more like what he describes as TMS rather than Eagle Ford Shale.  Any other thoughts?

Survey crew has been in and out of Pennington several times in last couple of weeks.Staking for a potential XTO drilling site. Right on Houston Trinity County line. Hope things start moving soon.

  Joseph,

Have heard the same thing about a well site near Pennington maybe off the Fm rd that goes to Kennard ? Do you know anything about the progress of the XTO pad in White rock creek bottom south of 287 ?

   Dbob,

The gas plant is being installed by Navidad it will be going in a Kinder Morgan line --- should be ready to go in about a week or 10 days.  Terrace "Brown" pad appears to be almost ready ----- Dirt contractor looking @ Jackson site yesterday ------ ground conditions fairly wet

Road into the White Rock Creek site was a bit of a mud hole the other day.  Looked like maybe work had paused for a few days to let things dry out....

dbob,

Can you confirm that they intend to cross White Rock Creek on a pair of culverts just South of Shady Grove Church ? ----- also hearing that things are on the move just across the Trinity River in Leon County in the form of drilling preperations ------  hearing that CHK is hastily leasing all open acreage between Centerville and the Trinity River in Leon Co. ------- Houston County has taken on more new leasing groups in the Court House also. ------- We still need info on that Parten Well !!!

Can't confirm, but the plotted well location and where the road appears to come from, yeah it will probably involve crossing White Rock Creek.  Couldn't really see what it looks like from the county road.

Leon certainly looks like its hopping.

On a possibly related note, sales tax revenue are up in Cushing and Chireno - Hopefully Houston County will have some of the same benefit

May try to check out the White Rock creek site this weekend if we get some sun. You know that county road went straight through from Fodice years ago. Think it has been closed for over 25 years. Maybe they will use that for a guide.

Stakes in Penninigton begin at Pennington cemetery on Fm 358 and go east for about one mile to Reese Rd.

Very Good Info Joseph ------ sounds like they surveyed in a 640 acre production unit ------ and the Permit should show up in Trinity Co.  ( I THINK) as I believe that cemetery is in the Trinity County Historical Archives ------ and Trinity county is over due some attention ------- most new wildcats seem to be staked fairly close to one or more of these--- road/pipeline/and 3 phase electric power for future gas Amine plant but the White Rock Creek well may be an exception to the above.

  dbob,

When you were plotting that well did you happen to note that it is in a flood plain ?

BTW--- In my opinion if XTO does something it will be grand and make a big splash/ draw lots of attention etc. and some of this could be on strike with the Leor deep Bossier Prospect --- time will tell

Did you all realize that instead of going with sports names for their units, XTO is now naming for  the Beatles songs/connections. The White Rock site is Abbey Road. Survey papers sent out named this site in Pennington as "Penny Lane" unit. The first stake has "Beatles base" on it.

I heard a site called "Revolver" was in the mix.  On a less serious note, Samson Lonestar did a string of Flinstones themed wells.  Encanca or EOG has a group of Beatles named wells.  XTO has recently done some with river names.  I've been told that if you have minerals and work with your land man, you can get your family name or the name of someone you want to honor on a unit.

Joseph,

Since you seem to be knowledgeable about the new Pennington location could you "guess" which county the pad will be in ?

Bet there will be some folks beating their chest if it is in Trinity -- Lol

Yep, should be Trinity County.

Thanks for the information on Terrace expecially the Jackson site. Looks like the ground is going to stay wet for awhile. Expecting more rain next week.
