 flipped scanner on -- Scanner is a buzz -- Crockett,Lovelady,Austonio and at least Madisonville VFDs all there and Air #1

Brown Rd Fire Contained and VFDs returning to respective fire houses was the latest on VHF 154.4    ------ "TFS has dozed a line ALL the way around it but much smoke through out the night"  was the last thing said

BTW -- as far as this thread being set aside for BS -- I thought that was what it was for since last year.  LOL

ALL,

 More W1s out today, it would seem that Western Chief is out of the picture and Interstate is now permitting new wells on WC acreage ----- gossip from several weeks ago was totally accurate about WC selling out ------ about 5" of rain fell in the Austonio area in the last 4 days---- some fracing and flaring going on--- along with water hauling ------ Reportedly many new wells planned for the area by Interstate and Trivium

Seen a few survey crews out around Austonio today. Looks as if maybe Basin 103 will be moving to the ORL GR Unit. They were finishing up on the location today. I may be wrong but that was the only new location I found around the area. To pretty of a day not to ride some back roads and check everything out!!

 I heard they may go back to "Jackson" and drill the Horizontal new hole off the same pad ?  

  Where did you see the survey crews working ?

   Also a local man just built a new home and moved in about 10 days ago and Interstate staked a well in his front yard think he is sick about it.

I have been following the posts concerning the leasing/exploration/drilling in the Weldon, Austonio and Eastham areas of Houston County and the information is very interesting.  Would anyone know if there is an interest yet for the oil companies easing across the Houston County line into the Walker County area of Kittrell?  Also, what would this area be "called" in oil business terminology?  Thanks in advance for any light you may shed in this inquiry....

Another question. What the significance of the color of tanks at a new well site? Beige, Green or any other colors.
