I thought the attached G-1 and G-5 would be interesting to some folks.  G-1 has the completion information - looks like acid fracs and therfore the target is the limestone formations.

24 hour production is 479 bbl of 42.8 API gravity condensate or oil.  1179 bbls of water with that.  Note this is a vertical completion across multiple, thick zones.

Maybe I need to get Joe Aldrige to look at this, but it looks more like what he describes as TMS rather than Eagle Ford Shale.  Any other thoughts?

Howdy Randy,

Thanks for the new information...any idea where in Walker County the new well location for ZaZa will be?  On another note, I have really been enjoying the rains....starting to see a little rise in the water level of my lake....maybe it will be a good dose for spring!  I know this inclement weather isn't helping the men on the rigs, but us old cattlemen are loving it!!!

Just across the Trinity River in walker co. Near the first Zaza well, Stingray.Zaza has touted Stingray as having multiple zones and they compare it to one of Navidad Furgason wells that has produced 250,000 equivalent barrels in its first yr.of production.

Thanks again, Randy...

Just trying to decipher the location...when you say "just across the Trinity River in Walker County" do you mean they crossed the river to the East side of the county ( the neat little area we call Kittrell ) or, are they still on the West side (Huntsville side) of the river closer to Roan's Prairie?

Think that location is West side between Bedias and Crabs Prairie area

Thanks, Dry Hole....

So...still over on the West side of I-45 ....

Za Za Tiger is off Lost Indian Camp rd. Just a few miles north of Pine Prairie on 247. It's between 247 and the river. Believe there is a rig already drilling in that area also.

sorry I thought Fiddler was talking about Stingray

Tiger would be on the East side of Walker Co.

"Almost" on the East side of the County, Dry Hole....Lost Indian Camp road runs pretty much East off FM 247 towards the river, but the road plays out before it gets to the river.  I should be able to hear the progress on the well from where I sit if the wind blows through the river bottom just right. Thanks for the information, y'all...this will be an interesting play to watch!

Easier to do it here than start a new discussion:

Completions: Brooks Petroleum company West #1 - 84 bbls oil/day

trivium dan ackley retest  56 mcf/day but choke is 128/128 with 1300 psi flowing pressure

bluestone coburn #2 in walker county - 24 bbls oil/day

Permits of interest -

BBX Fist Full of Dollars in Tyler County - permitted as potential woobine or austin chalk/wildcat 5.2 miles NE of Town Bluff

thx dbob,

Trivium well has good flowing psi for a wide open 2" choke  wonder why the mcf is so low ?

Its making a lot of water right now.  Maybe still cleaning up?  If not cleaning up, they hit the ocean...

Legal section in Houston Co Courier has Treadstone Notice of Application for Oil and Gas Wate Disposal Well Permits--WT Bruton Estate #8 well. Same for Forrest #3H well. Waste water will be injected into strata in depth interval from 8400 to 8470 feet.
