I thought the attached G-1 and G-5 would be interesting to some folks.  G-1 has the completion information - looks like acid fracs and therfore the target is the limestone formations.

24 hour production is 479 bbl of 42.8 API gravity condensate or oil.  1179 bbls of water with that.  Note this is a vertical completion across multiple, thick zones.

Maybe I need to get Joe Aldrige to look at this, but it looks more like what he describes as TMS rather than Eagle Ford Shale.  Any other thoughts?

DH you could be right about that. They stacked out Nabors 733 in Lovelady.

5 mile 3 phase electric line is being built to run a down hole submersible pump for the Jackson 2 H.

That's pretty pricy - My recollection is about $10/linear foot.  Anyone else have a handle on powerline prices

Yep, that is close enough Dbob ----- they must have faith in Jackson ------ Heard tonight that Midway Oil Field SWD Trucks have a 2 hour wait to unload salt water

Texas Energy has built a good size yard near Austonio! About the size of Midways' yard. Looks to have a SWD there also.

What would that be used for? Pardon my ignorance please. To help get oil out of the well? The one and only time I was able to check production was for 88 barrels.

Thanks

Does anybody know what's going on w / E. Houston / W. Trinity Counties, or anything w / XTO?  I'm afraid that if the well(s) were drilled properly, it could be a "generation-skipper" regarding leasing / drilling...

 Texas 54 & Go Ricky ,

TOO early to start jumping to firm conclusions about why they seem to be slowing down in Houston county. But infrastructure is lagging behind and these wells need pipeline hook-ups and Salt Water Disposal (SWD)  --------- Right Of Ways (ROW) have to be bought for the pipelines and legal "red tape" for them and the SWD wells must be dealt with before they can proceed with construction etc.

The wells that have been drilled already can not be time evaluated for production and profitability without the infrastructure. But we also have to keep in mind that some of the "Eaglebine" fame and excitement may be starting to wear off a little as we need an infusion of Big Barn Burner Wells to re-ignite the enthusiasm.

Thanks for the update, still trying to learn how to look up well production  on TRRC.

Interstate and Navidad still working pretty strong in south HC. New location near Creek on 1280 and several rock trucks headed out to Eastham. Shelly ranch has a lot of activity from Treadstone. New pipelines going to that old Unical station, and lots of work on the actual station itself.

I have to agree with Dry Hole on this aspect.  There just isn't any infrastructure in place to support the continued exploration and/or discovery at the present pace.  I see many, many service oriented vehicles on FM 230 and all I can think is "Damn, that's expensive!"  There may be plenty of oil and gas under us, but this remote area is tough to get the product to the market.  That and those old Farm to Market Roads can handle just so much heavy traffic before they break down and a whole lot of money will have to be spent to repair/replace them.  I still believe that the "Fat Lady" hasn't hit the high note yet....she's just catchin' her breath for the next act.

I do have one question for the folks in the know.....Are there any plans that y'all know of for 3D seismic activity in the Kittrell area?  I think the last time the seismic guys showed up was over 20 years ago and I'm pretty sure that the technology has changed a lot since then.  After all...from where I'm sittin' on my front porch...the Eastham wells are 6 miles West of me and the Weldon activity is about 4 miles North of me as the crow flies...

Don't know about the 3 D but I do know it gets a lot harder and more expensive in the pine timber country and probably next to impossible on USFS =======  I think they are mostly using old well control (data) even up north of hwy 21 where they have new 3D that was shot by Anadarko/CHK for the deep Bossier Play
