I have a client who received a letter in mail yesterday from E & P proposing to "comingle Cotton Valley with Haynesville." I have not seen the letter but he read it to me. Said it addressed several sections not just his section which is adjacent to Ranchland Ac. Anyone have any ideas what that is all about. I went on Desoto Records online & can't find any info there. His letter was dated March 29, 2013, but he just received it yesterday

I  went to Sonris first & it was down. Then went to Desoto Records and nothing. I assume it will be on Sonris under hearings as soon as site comes back up. they are probably updating. Just thought someone might know something now. I am not known for patience. LOL

I think that too. Just checked it again and still down. Will check it again late tomorrow.

Letter said they were pooling and comingling Hosston, Cotton Valley, and Haynesville (I haven't seen the letter. My client read to me). Interesting verbage that they would include all 3 fields or is that normal

Jay, I just read all the notices and cannot find anything that references E & P. Am I missing something. Trying to contact my client to get him to scan and send to me

It's probably a "pre-conference notice" letter and will not appear in the Commissioner's Hearing Schedule until after the fifteen day period has lapsed.  It'll show up eventually.

Hi Skip: They emailed it to me today but it wasn't in a pdf & each pg. had HUGE type. From what I can gather it is a hearing for "Surface Commmingling Request, HOLLY,BETHANY LONGSTREET,KINGSTON FIELdS." It is from E & P Co. It has a list of feilds and well LUW codes & Ser. no. codes of wells affected. Apparently they are requesting all these well productions to go to Holly COmmingling Facility no. 1. I am wondering if that is Exco's facility on Highway 175. This application has many, many pages and even has schematics of the processes.

Did it say "Pre-Application Notice"?  If so it will likely appear in the database soon unless there is significant opposition.  Then we can post a link to the document for those with interests in those fields.

Skip, front pg. says Application for Public Hearing

As none of the fields mentioned appear on the Commissioner's Hearing schedule at this time, the application is still in the notice period and will appear when that time ends.

Also, this commingling is for Cotton Valley and Hoston formations--no mention of Haynesville . Also it is for liquid hydrocarbons

Did it mention the section was 19 one of them its north of grand cane?

James my client who got the letter said it only mentioned sections in the Bethany Longstreet Field. If I remember correctly you are in T14/R14 and in the Holly Field. I am anxious for Jay's opinion when Sonris database gets back online. It is still down this morn.

KCM what will this mean for us in the Holly Field if any?
