Who would you contact locally to engage Western for the potential to lease them acreage?
XAM, I don't know anyone who works for Western, but I'd caution against contacting any company to solicit a lease offer. If they want your acreage, they'll come to you, and you'll get a better deal than if you offered to lease property.
The lease areas and the offer terms sound familiar. Reminds me of BTE.

We have leased several hundred acres in Holmes County, Ms. to them. It's good to get more information about them.
What are our prospects of anything happening, or WHAT might we expect to happen with our lease, in the next four years, which is the term of our lease? Your crystal ball is better than ours.
I have heard of other mineral leases in Holmes County near ours, presumably for the Brown Dense. Any info/speculation on that area? Thanks!
In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of) nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
