Does this mean the field is profitable? Reason I ask, the Ouachita RR runs into Union Parish down to Lillie, LA. The track is currently out of service but I am working a rehab budget to restore it to operational level. Any thoughts, insights, or comments would be appreciated

SWN appears to think so, Michael.
Patterson UTI Rig reports Stand By, spud date changed to 2/28..
Could be they are trying to decide if they want to send this rig to Mississippi for a test well before continuing here.
Patterson UTI Rig still reporting Stand By, 2/28/14. New spud date 3/7.
Tick Creek Field quickly becoming the focus of production drilling for SWN. Another new unit permit appeared today on the Commissioner's Public Hearing schedule. That's 5 additional units in the last couple of weeks. They are all composed of adjoining sections. This one is L SMK RA SUF covering the S/2 of Section 26 & Section 35 in 22N - 1E and the N/2 of Section 2 in 21N - 1E. Link to application follows.

skip,
in your opinion, approximately when would you expect the commission to schedule the hearing as to the apc request (you've cited above) dated 2/25/14?
thank you, sir,
jim weyland
The application will be heard in Baton Rouge on 4/8. The application has already cleared the pre-conference notice period for a local meeting.
skip,
please excuse my ignorance. but, if approved, ordinarily, would an order be issued to be effective that same day, and, if not, when so?
again, as always, thank you, sir,
jim weyland
Yes, the field order creating the unit would be effective the date of the hearing.
at the risk of my being perceived obsequious, once again;
thanks.
LOL! You're welcome, jim.
