I heard an oil co person refer to Big Keg South as the EOG-Zaza project in Polk and Tyler Counties and the Big Keg North as referring to the EOG project planned in Walker, Houston and Trinity Counties. Not saying this is right,

 I suppose Goodland is a naturally fractured lime and Kiamichi is a fracable shale ? -- so where will the H hole go (shale or lime) and how deep are those zones ?

Goodland is organic rich lime with both natural fractures and matrix p&p.
Kiamichi is carbonate rich shale with organics.
Both intervals have to be drilled horizontally and frac'd.
Depth depends on area but below 10,000' in Houston County.
Both benches may end up being targets in long run

It is above  the Glen Rose and Paluxy intervals.

Like most unconventional plays, associated formation water should be minimal

sorry Randy I believe there is a aerial photo plane in the Tyler/north east texas area ?  EOG "Corey" is through drilling and waiting on frac job ---- Rig is up and drilling for about a week now on EOG "MOSLEY RANCH"  --- flow lines have already been laid to the "Mosley"before drilling started ------ several more pads have been staked

sorry those are out of my "gossip"area ------------ I am hearing that all these electric down hole submersible pumps are putting a huge strain on the rural electric coops power grid and they are working hard to ramp up ----------- highways are showing a lot of wear and traffic/noise has really increased with the activity --- very common to meet over-width loads after dusk in the evenings driving very fast

They just moved the rig off of Barrett #1 last week. Nothing reported yet and nothing on the Jones #2 but they haven't turned in Sept. production yet. No completion report, for certain.

Have you seen the photos posted by O. Hicks in the Hopeful in Pennington script and in this conversation too? He takes photos of this area in his Snoopy plane. Vernon is the one who usually posts them.

This is Snoopy's master - his pilot, Orlan Franks.

I will be in the area again the week of 07NOV14 until about the 16th taking more aerial photos of south Trinity County and Houston County well sites.

We have 92 plus acres outside the S.E. corner of Lovelady, TX at the end of Mainer Road.  We have another 455 +/- mineral acres south of FM1280 3.5 miles east of Lovelady.

Our Trinity County acreage is 100% all mineral 682.5 acres between Holly and Friday, TX, north of FM1280.

I try to shoot all O&G well-sites south of the Crockett Muni Airport, then fly eastward to Pennington then south to FM1280 back to 4 miles south of Lovelady, then returning north to the Crockett Airport. I do spend and hour or so cruising the well-site existing, new drilling and new pads in this defined area.

My aircraft hold only 16 useable gallons of fuel and I use the Crockett Airport for $4.70/gal av-gas, then return to home base in Conroe, TX, where we live.
