Can a regular landowner group together with a land developer

I talked to the Red River Land guy working my area. He varified that Belle Cherri does own mineral rights in most of Duck Island, that only a few of us did retain mineral rights in our purchase, my land included. A neighbor is signing at 8,500 and I assume 25%. I have come up with a question (after business hours at the end of the business week! :-) ) that I will check out as soon as Monday morning comes. I haven't seen this particular point mentioned elsewhere on this site. My objective will be to find out if the rest of us here, assuming no one else has signed as I haven't, can group with Belle Cherri. I assume that normally it would be to group with other regular landowners like ourselves, but it's worth checking out! If anyone can give me some thoughts on this in the meantime, I would very much appreciate it.

Hello Ms. Beth , Even tho Belle Cherri isn't your neighbor, they should have a vested interest in what happens to a neighborhood that sites on property they sold. Hopefully they would be happy to involve you with the neighborhood land that they hold mineral ownership to.If not it certainly wouldn't bode well for them in the future . Good luck!
I just spoke with Chuck at Belle Cherri. He said the few of us here at Duck Island that own our mineral rights can pool with Belle Cherri! They'd be happy to have us! If I heard him right, they're latest offer is up to 18K! I just wonder, surely, if that would also extend to us. I'm going around to the neighbors today.
