Hello ole' friend!, (an' I do mean OLD!!!)

Check out my recent entry under topic of "SNAPSHOTS OF THE PLAY . . . , etc.", and my comment to herefordsnshale. You might find those interesting. Info that I have is that an attorney in Mansfield (that is known to you) is pulling the strings on this as he has a mineral interest in Sec#29).

Any thoughts?
Hey Lanadan-----what do you mean old. I still feel young. About sec 20 11 15, I looked through the assessors records and found that only 9 acres are assessed to anyone. That is the Gadman Place.

The rest of the land in 20 was taken by SRA back in mid 1960's. I suppose the land owners kept the mineral rights. Most of the land is under water. It is the old Chester Lowery place. It still could be some of the guy you are talking about's mineral rights. Don't know.

I did see that you cant stir them with a stick over in the court house. Sec 22 has been drilled, dont know about the frac job yet. sec 19 has a big beautiful pad about 8 acres in size with a big extra pond to the east of it , probably to hold their frac water. After sections 16 and 17 get permitted , it wont leave many in 11 15. The way I figure it, only 18, 24, 28, 21 maybe just a few at the top of 11 15. Some of the north ones have been producing cvs and hoss for years.
I just learned today that Chesapeake holds the lease on 440 acres in section 13 of 11-16, adjacent to all the drilling activity. I got it straight from IP's man in charge of royalties, KCS (previous leaseholder) failed to pay delayed rentals and lost the IP acreage but they are still holding my place and a couple of other tracts in 13. The KCS leases begin expiring this fall. So how is this going to play out?
herefordsnshale. I looks as if Petrohawk is unable to maintain a lease position that will allow them to be the operator in this section. Chesapeake will probably move to "top lease" Petrohawk's acres still under lease. Two options to consider. Accept a top lease from CHK if the terms suit you or propose an extension to Petrohawk for zero dollars but a nice bump in royalty. Unless Petrohawk has at least one lease with two or so years remaining, they might extend one lease for the right to have access to the proprietary well data that will be generated when wells are drilled. Happens all the time. CHK does it to other operators. Petrohawk would probably consider it under the right circumstances. Remember the eventual operator of this section/unit must abide by the lease terms of all lessors regardless of who they leased with. But also remember that Petrohawk only needs that one lease.
Hey Hereford----I am trying to figure out who you are. If you live in 13 11 16 then you have to be less than a mile from where I live in 18 11 15. If you are a forrester and about
38 years old, then I think you must be my kinfolks. Not sure. take care now
It looks like you figured me out! I know who you are too, I had you down as the wrong person! Now I just need to figure out who Lanadan is.
herefordsnshale,

As to who I REALLY am -- I'm fox's red-headed, cross-eyed, hair-lipped, joined-at-the hip twin brother who was separated at birth and placed in an orphanage to be raised by a bunch of Carmelite nuns (those are the ones who don't talk). Oh, and I had a bad speech impediment with a lisp and a stutter and even today I can only say "T-t-t-thes-s-s-uh-p-p-peek".

I had, however, some musical talent and thought about becoming a piano player in a New Orleans (you-know-what), but instead bettered myself by become a lyin', cheatin', theavin' landman for the above mentioned entity. Mama was so proud! Enuff s-s-s-said?
lanadan:

No, you're wrong. Looks as though you had a little more musical talent than ya wanna admit to.

In other words, your two-paragraphs worth of fun (above) could, in fact, be turned into a country-and-western song . . .

Maybe with the title of: "My Cheatin' Landman." Or: "She Left Me When Our Well Came In." Or: "I Went Horizontal and Never Regretted It."

Hank would be proud, cher.
Goshdarn-Lanadan-Herefordsnshale-----I am the one that is so proud to finally find my redheaded, cross-eyed, hair-lipped , lying, cheating landman , disjointed at the hip brother, who has unleased minerals in a hot section of Desoto Parish. I just know he will probably unlease some of that money on me. cant wait. But if he dont, then we'll just write songs.
GD those are really good song titles! Aren't you glad you don't live close to those two! I just try to act like I don't know them.
