For all of you who don't know Jay...he is ShaleGeo. He has been constantly bombarded with questions and mail since he started on this site. Now he is fed up with the nasty ways. You got what you wanted. If you don't want him to go, you better tell him NOW!

Don't let a few bad apples run you off Jay ,you are a very valuable asset to this board.
Jay stay here with us.
I've personally expressed to Jay my sentiments and heart felt thanks for his professionalism, courtesy and endless time to which he selflessly gave all of us who came to him and asked. Jay is a decent person first and a geologist second and he never put one before the other. This site is in its infancy but Jay has been here from the beginning and the number of members have increased at such a dramatic pace one can only imagine how much more time Jay has given to each of us because of it.

It would be a grave loss to those of us who will not have access to Jay and his free flowing professional knowledge. Jay is one of the reasons that this site stood out from the others. Haynesville has done a wonderful job at keeping this site free of those with the mindset like those over on forums like tigerdroppings and topix.

There are so many people that are trying to keep this site built on professional people giving factual information in a respectable manner.

Jay, since we spoke earlier I would hope you have had a change of heart but if not I don't blame you one bit and thank you in advance for all you have done for me and my family members on this forum.

Ok, look yall!

If you want Jay to stay, you better speak up! I don't think I've ever asked anything of him because he is usually swamped. But if you did and he helped you, you better let him know that you appreciate him!

Hey what is going on? I guess I missed it all. Tell Jay I have been called everything from stupid to more colorful terms based on some of my questions and remarks. I just ignore the few especially when compared to the millions that do not remark or express such rude behavior. I know how much Jay has meant to us (our family) by communicating to you and this post. Let me know if there is anything that I can say to persuade him not to leave.
I do not know you, Jay, but I hope that you do not allow words posted on a public forum to consume you to the point that you take offense to what others post. You are a valued asset to everyone who reads this forum, and I hope you continue providing assistance that so many need. Overlook those things that burden you, and keep focus on the things that serves you the most comfort. By your past on this forum, it is clear that you find enjoyment in helping others in need. There are still people who thirst for your knowledge, and more will come as time passes. I plead with you, do not deny them the opportunity to learn from someone as knowledgeable as you have already proven to be. Forget the things on this forum that bother you, and take comfort that there are those who appreciate everything you bring to the forum. I, personally, have enjoyed reading your responses to people's questions, and I hope you allow me the opportunity to continue doing so in the future.
I have heard people talk about a great website for landowners called "GoHaynesvilleShale" and every single time, right after the name of the website is given, they say "The website has this section 'Ask Jay the Geologist' where anyone can ask a question concerning the Haynesville!"

Jay, you are a big factor in the success of this website. Let's all hope it continues.
Well said !
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE - JAY DO NOT GO.
Jay, you have been such an asset, thank you so much for that! I would like to see you stay and continue helping.
Jay-I hope you stay.-Merlin
Jay if you leave we all lose.

I am very sorry if anything that I said offended you.

I am sorry, I have been a fan of Mr. McConnells before I ever heard of Haynesville shale.

That sure doesn't mean that I am not a fan of yours also.
