Thanks, Les. I see you have a new well to add to your Top 20 List.. Petrohawk Sample 4, 2-Alt., #238828, Section 4 - 12N - 15W, Thorn Lake Field. 23.730 MMCFD on a 26/64" choke. Congratulations to the lessors in Section 4.
Skip, thanks for the note. That well was already on my list at #6 at a rate of 23.9 MMcfd based on earlier information.
I have to say, this is my favorite map. I love to see the changes month over month. Thanks Skip
Skip,
Do you have the unit applications in an excel spreadsheet form? That way we could see what operators are applying where?

Thanks
Ian. I can not share all the research I do nor post all the tracking spreadsheets that I maintain as I have clients that pay me for those services. I share some of my basic research such as the HA unit township grid map and answer specific questions related to it as part of my support for GHS. As much as I enjoy being a member, I still have to make a living.
I understand. Thanks
Gray, there have several Cotton Valley wells drilled and completed at this depth in the Liberty Hill Field.
Gray, yes I believe these are Cotton Valley wells with some dating back to 2005. Also the Hosston Formation is deeper in this area than the fields in the Shreveport-Bossier region.
Cotton Valley.
"I do not think the CV goes that deep in Bienville Parish does it?"

The CV gets deeper as you go straight east from Shreveport until you get to the Monroe uplift which is similar to the Sabine uplift. It's about 14-15k feet in Bienville and Jackson parishes. It also gets deeper as you go south but it's more shallow as you go north so that it's around 16k feet in Winn parish and 9k feet in northern Claiborne parish.
Skip & Les - Thanks again for keeping up with this for us. Still serving donut holes, I see? Okay, maybe we should start a pool to wager when it will finally be colored in? And give it it's own special color?
