This well is filed for Surface location ( 12/01/2009 03:37:27 PM )

D. Gonzales survey, A-237 17.0 miles SE of Shelbyville

Remark
This well is filed for Surface location only. This well is a pilot hole and is not intended to produce oil or gas. Thanks, Commish. Hopefully there will be many cross-state-line wells in the future of mineral owners in LA. and TX.
Jffree, Forest has received a permit for a somewhat "twin" well in Louisiana that will be drilled under the lake in Sections 34 & 35 of T8N-R14W (BSM 35-34 #H1 Well, Ser #240522).
Thanks Les. It will be interesting to see how this develops... especially after reading what HS just posted.
My reply to this is it will be after the war. These folks have tried to condim this surface location they are
trying to use, because they have a lease on state of texas tract along the river of about 10-12- acres they
are threating condimnation, because of state land The mineral interest under this proposed location is in a producing unit. So i guess they think they can traverse through this producing unit into La without entering into the producing formation Very big undertaking doing this, and rest assured as part of the land ownership it will be fought by us.
