I am not making excuses for the delay, but could Gustav slowed things a bit?
How would an email to Jindal solve the power outage that is being experienced in south Louisiana? I am sure he is just as unhappy about the situation as you are.
The land owner has rights, (mineral rights) and thats where his rights stop. Once you lease or get forced pooled, your rights to any other information stop. The well operators take over and everything is a big secret. Our minerals pay their salaries as well as taxes to the state who also adds to the "BIG SECRET" by also keeping you in the dark. The big oil and gas ceo's have got to have their BIG BONUSES. I think the laws must change and all drilling on private land should be a matter of public record for the public to view at any time they so choose. Playing politics with my minerals should be an act of theft by fraud and punishable by i20 years at hard labor-then I bet all the BS would STOP.
Nothing is known at this point, stuff is stuck down hole, tubing is broken off in the hole, maybe we got a black hole. Baton Rouge is down because of the hurricane, so sonris ain't working right, so lets call Gov Jindal. I feel Mr. Jindal has done a wonderful job handeling the hurricane. Leave him alone on this subject because we have more problems than the amount a well will produce. You are only thinking about your pocketbook when we got many people hurting across the state with way bigger problems than yours.
