I am a recent college graduate, and with the state of the economy and the job market I am getting tired of hunting. I have perused alot of the offshore job sites and looked at different opportunities. I have some oil/gas experience but not a lot. If anyone could point in the right direction for entry level positions I would really appreciate it, I don't want to go back to school, I am ready to make some money. I don't have any kids, not married, so that isn't a problem. I woudn't mind working overseas either, in fact I think a change of scenery to an exotic location would be a breath of fresh air.

CMK, try some of the attached websites. The list is a little dated so hopefully they are still active.

Keep em coming guys, I really appreciate it.
I have had 2 interviews with Halliburton but no call backs yet, I have some excellent references, it's almost discouraging.
Believe me lethal, as a younger guy it's pretty depressing, you wouldn't believe how many applicants there are for entry level oil/gas jobs, especially Halliburton and others. I have good experience, awesome references and a college education, it's like sharks in the water.

I will roughneck before I would work for the government in any capacity, lol.
I got another interview with Halliburton, wish me luck shale friends!
Great! - Good Luck - just get your foot in the door and show them what you have.
Thanks Shaleeee! I Hope you get one of those 37MMCFD wells on your property.
LOL - Thanks - I was going to say I would say a little prayer for you tonight but thought the word prayer may be too political - but I will say one anyway - be sure and let us know the results!
GOOD Luck!!!
