This well is on Mission Plantation surface located East of Ida bordered by Arkansas on the North and Red River on the East.

OK, please lets all step back and take a deep breath. There is a lot of emotion involved when someones financial future well being is involved.
Like Gaterpaw said we can all learn from each other. We can do this in a sensible , calm and cautious manner.
For the O&G companies and their followers ... they want the best deal for themselves. The landowner and mineral owner wants the best deal for themselves.
Somewhere in this discussion everyone has some things correct. We must work through the ins and outs and eventually come out with a solution.
I have a large (to me) interest in where the Haynesville stops being productive. The O&G companies have a large interest in WHEN this information is made public. We should all understand that.
Hopefully we can go forward with this discussion and learn from each other, and I look forward to doing just that.

Jay, Inthestix left you a message asking if the technology today on a log would be much better than an old log. What are your thoughts?

Jay; Thanks for your reply. As already said rumors are flying, and partly because it appears that whatever is going on with this well is being held private.
Jay if these are both the same well.. why did they redrill it? I know this may sound like a stupid question, but I'm only trying to understand.

Please notice they completed the well, perforated,fraced the well, 7-1 7-8. Then on 8-14 moved a workover rig in and perforated in the Haynesville , fraced . Can you tell me if this is normal? Did they complete this well in two zones?

Jim, the more you protest the more you fuel the fire. Who were you addressing the following to?

The President of Etoco could tell you what they did and you wouldn't believe that either. You are wrong. You were wrong to begin with and you will be wrong at the end of the day. But you don't really care, you just want the attention.

You should read all my posts I haven't started any discussion with any lies, and I didn't start the discussion, nor have I made any claims about that well. I have only asked questions. I don't want anyone to get worked up, and I don't want anyone to be taken advantage of. That being said I'm done.

I believe everyone should wait and see the" actual well log from this well " not one from another before they say what kind zone it will be producing from.

Inthestix: I agree with you we should wait for the actual well log from this well and I for one am in no hurry. Everything else would be pure speculation. And even though there is past information about Crystal Oil... they went broke trying to bring this field in... I feel like they thought it had promise, but just couldn't get it to produce it's potential due to technical fracing . This may just be sand, or it may be a mix, or it may be the real deal, but whatever it is time will tell.
