I'm hearing from my brother that equipment and materials are moving onto the pad in Sec. 16.

My brother has seen heavy activity at the well in the last few days--appearance is they're perforating and fracturing the well, I guess meaning it should be completed soon.
This was in reply to Gayle N.' s post yesterday and refers to 16-11-15.
This kind of brings up the question I stirred up in another thread about shut-in HS wells (unfrac'd).

http://www.gohaynesvilleshale.com/forum/topics/well-capable-of-prod...

Can a well that is not capable of producing oil or gas in paying quantities be subject to shut-in payments and HBP indefinitely.
Wells not fraced are not shut-in, they are Waiting On Completion. And they must be completed before the expiration of the lease term. Once completed they may be shut in. The length of time allowed and the payment required should be covered in the lease. If not, see a good O&G attorney. IANAL.
Skip, can you tell me if there is a well getting ready to go up in section 5 (T13N, R15W) Keatchi, La. Last time i was there i saw a road going in and was told they were laying pipe and preparing to put in a well pad etc. Not sure who? Petrohawk or El Paso? can you find out...need help.
Keb, the following well has been drilled into Section 5 but is waiting to be frac'ed and completed. The surface location is in Section 32 to the north.

Petrohawk, Murphy 5 #H1 Well, Serial #240650, S32(5)-T14(13)N-R15W

S5-T13N-R15W, HA RB SU60 Unit, Petrohawk, Bethany-Longstreet Field, DeSoto Parish
It seems that fracturing has just been completed on this well.
