Would laying of gathering piplines in an area have any bearing on potential near future drilling activity?
Jay, you should know that ain't is not a real word.
Exco leased in 18n, 16w, 22 about six months ago. Not sure their future intentions but they must have felt there will be some gas to get in our area.
A review of the HK EUR Map will reveal that the 4 bcf/economic limit contour line has a significant northern extension covering all of 17N -16W and the lower half of 18N - 16W. Petrohawk has drilled a number of productive HA wells in this area and continues to do so.
petrohawk frc a well two week ago on bradford rd about two mile away .maybe it will be a good well. its west of jolly napier off south lake shore.and there drilling a well on jefferson paige so will will see. thank for the info
It would help if we knew what the Encana well in 18N 14W sec 28 IP'd? Sonris has it as "online" since June 1st. It could tell us a little more about the Cross Lake area. Also, Chesapeake is proposing 2 units in 17N 15W sec 12 and sec 13. Got that letter a couple weeks back. There is gas in this area and ain't is a real word.
