I have 85 acres in Claiborne Parish, Haynesville, La off Sandhill Rd. I am trying to find out if anyone is leasing in the area. I am very interested in finding someone to lease my mineral rights.

Linda,
We were offered 300.00 3yr/4yr 20% RI from Pinebelt today.Their office number is 850-324-0123,Good Luck!
I am in Pensacola, Florida. That area code is my area code. Did you take the offer. I have land in Claiborne Parish also. Would love to sell my share. Not getting anything for it at this time.
BTW...I would take this offer, if you haven't already. It is not a part of the Haynesville Shale.
Thank you for the info, it is good to hear there are some nibbles out there.
The 3yr/4yr at 20% sounds ok, just need to get more cash per acre. I will keep this number for sure.
Linda,

If you could give me the legal description of your land I might know someone who might be interested in making lease offer. I can't figure out just where your land might be. My property is on Sandhill road in Webster parish. I did not know Sandhill Rd. extended into Claiborne. Or maybe there is more than one Sandhill Rd. If you could post section, township and range I will pass info on to others. There is possibility I might be interested in leasing it.
right now see if this helps you locate the 85 acres in Haynesville,La, Claiborne Parish off Sandhill Rd., it is SW 1/4 SE 1/4 SEC. 13 & 5 AC. in NE corner NW 1/4 NE 1/4 SEC. 24/22/8 and NW/4 SE/4 SEC 13/22/8 cont. 85 acres. I really would like to cast out a line looking for interest in leasing
Linda,

I get the picture. Your land is about 7 miles southeast of mine. I never knew that Sandhill Rd. extended into Claiborne Parish. My segment of SH rd. ends at Claiborne Parish line. I will check it out on map soon and try to find out what's happening around you. I will plan to drive by when I am in La. soon. Can't believe I never knew Sandhill rd. existed in Claiborne Psh. I am certain I must have travelled on it when it either had a no name or just a number. I don't think I missed any roads in that vicinity in the early 50"s.
I am really glad you responded, yeah Sandhill Rd. runs into the main road I think stateline rd. It is right near the big cementary. Really belongs to my dad, Grover Smith, who grew up in Haynesville, but he has Alzheimers now and I try to handle his affairs. Need to lease and get a fair price to help with medical expenses. Keep your ear out for interested parties.

Me too Linda.
I can't afford an attorney...I am out of state and have no idea what is going on there. What is the Smackdown/Brown Dense formation? Sounds like wrestling.
Yeah, I know Claiborne Parish is probably not sitting on Haynesville Shale now, but hoping for maybe one of the other fields may include my 85 acres and would love to find a company interested in leasing. It is Sec 13/22/8 and 24/22/8.
Mine is 52 acres in Sections 18 and 19, Township 19N, Range 5W. Any info we could share, I would appreciate. I am in Florida and make it to Louisiana very rarely.
