Hello everybody,

If you would like to share any idea's with us that would help us to better organize this area, please let us know! We have started to pull many units together but will still haven't done anything as a group to get ready. If you would like to be a part of this gathering please let us know.Even if you feel you could better serve yourself individually we could still use your input. We will need volunteers in every area that we represent to help keep each other up to date. We need your help , plain and simple. If this thing is going to work for everyone we need to get ready.Things are fixing to speed up faster then you could imagine.Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

YES! This makes me want to buy more stock in chk and lots of others but I can't afford it! I hope the Haynesville play lives up to the hype and projections they are laying out. Gotta' send my kids to college!

Hello Mr. Shirley, I am not sure of your actual location but it seems every couple of weeks this thing gets a little wider. We would certainly like to be able to sit back and wait with you until we find the true borders of this Shale. If it keeps moving as fast as some of these landmen it will be all the way to Florida before the end of Fall ! HA! HA! Send me your section ,township and range and I could give you a better answer hopefully !
Hello Snakestewart,
I live between Calvin Linart and McIntyre Rds. on 528.I would say I live about two miles west of 371.I live on approx. 3&1/2 to 5 acres. It isn't much but it's mine.I found some papers that have my land listed as NE1/4 ofNE1/4 sec 35-19-10.Township 19 north range 10 west.

My kin have leased thier land in Bossier Parish for $5600.00
an acre.Chesepeek(sp?) leased thier rights.I know these things differ depending on location and company that you deal with.I would bow to those with more knowledge than I on this subject.Snakestewart...I hope this helps.

Hello Mr. Shirley , As I look back on the short history of this haynesville shale thing, every last thing that any of these gas people have said , to me or someone I know, has been an outright lie.I wish I had some other way of expressing my feelings right now but it just wouldn't do it justice! Now , there is a huge difference in what they tell the insiders and that is what I am banking on Mr. Shirley. They tell us ,they don't want our land , yet they sneak around and lease it anyway. They tell us, we may not even be on the shale, yet the biggest well sofar is closer to us then the " hot spots" areas. They tell us ,that this offer is top dollar , yet some cat down the road just got offered $1500 more then you .Why start believing them now, not I !!!

Untill we know for sure, whether it be by bit or bid , I say we sit on it ! Is there a chance we could miss out. Sure is , but it is a chance that is small compared to the chance of this thing paying off! These guy's don't hop around sticking holes in the ground like they used to. PHK or CHPK one, admitted that they had a 95% to 98% hit ratio when they drilled ! Does that sound like guess work to you ? In Vegas those odds would be way beyond a sure thing.

If you are on the Shale , which I feel quite comfortable that you are , there are millions of dollars worth of gas under your land. You have done absolutely nothing to earn this chance, just as I haven't, except getting your land.Whether you purchased it or it was family land passed down through the years , it doesn't matter! The only thing that matters is what you do with this once in a lifetime , once every 5 lifetimes chance that is before us all! Do we hurry and take the sure thing ? Get while the gettin's good ? Or do we stand together and try to make a difference for each and every life that could be impacted.

Are some of these offers starting to sound good? Yes sir they are. If my mother heard me say that these offer amounts couldn't help folks, she would take a belt to my backside this very day and I am 41 years old!But how much more of a blessing would $20,000 , $30,000 or even higher offers be ?

Those aren't numbers I just pulled out of thin air. Those are some numbers paid out on the Barnett Shale. You remember that one , the one that used to be the grand daddy gas field of them all. The one that pales in comparison to the largest natural gas field in the Country ! The 4th largest in the world at this moment.Give them another 6 months and we will have moved up a place or two!

The longer we sit back and wait , the more valuable that gas becomes to BIG O & G . Those people that are really getting paid on the Barnett are making them pay.Big O & G didn't come up with the idea of raising offers out of the goodness of their hearts. They were forced to. Until we start standing up and together , those higher offers will continue to elude us . Sorry that it took so long. Guess I had a lot on my chest tonight.
where exactly is the best producing well you speak of?
I live in BR and probably won`t be able to make it but we would like to include our 81 acres off Langley road in Sarepta in the pool if possible.
We`ll be anxious to hear what transpires.
thanks for your efforts
We will be happy to help in any way we can.
I own 78 acres on Tom Haynes Rd. in Shongaloo, near the Claiborne Parish line. I'm still uncertain about whether this land will be involved. Can anyone give me a clue? I live in Bossier.
Carolyn,
From what I have read and seen, you stand a very good chance.
Carolyn, good to see you're in this group. Are you going to the mtg. Thursday night? I hope to. Need to learn as much as I can. ACS says it's here....in what quantity, I suppose noone knows. Except for our ages, time is on our side! ha! ns "Murr"
I am a member of this group but live in Houston. I cannot attend but appreciate the time and effort put forth by all on this site. And look forward to reading all of your updates.
