60 mins

http://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/?id=4649238n

I know 60min is a liberal propaganda show but this is something that everyone needs to watch. We have to get off of oil. The arabs have shown us multiple times that they aren't our friends. Examples range from the 70s oil crisis and funding terrorists to the most recent $4.00 gallon gas which helped to tank our economy. They have used the U.S. like a five cent whore and it's time we stop this insanity.

North LA, I just finished reading the book "Twighlight in the Desert" by Matthew Simmons. Quite an insight into what is going to transpire in the next 5 to 10 years with global oil supply.

I'll have to read it. Thanks

North LA, sorry the name of the book is "Twilight in the Desert". My brain must have had a momentary lapse.

Les. Better lay off that HS viagra. Humor aside, this is an article that I found of interest.

Les - Have you read, or intend to read, Zakaria's book (Post-American World). Any thoughts?

Don't know the date on this, but it's an interview Zakaria did with Charlie Rose.

Here's the synopsis. I haven't gotten to it yet, either. Got to whittle down what I'm already reading. Thanks.

Will we ever get off foreign oil unless the price of gasoline goes to $4 a gallon?

landownerPermalink Reply by Wolverine on December 7, 2008 at 6:11
