New Field Discovery Application - Manning (Bossier Sand) - Angelina County

In what could be pretty interesting news for those in Angelina County, the new issue of Texas Drilling Observer is reporting today that Range Production Co. has filed a new field discovery application with the TRRC for their Ruby Flournoy Lease in Angelina County.

They have requested a field designation for "Manning (Bossier Sand)" for their Ruby Flournoy #1 well.

Here's a link to the W-1 for that well:

LOL, you are so right! My error and I aplogize but you can rest assured that I know exactly where this well is located. It's just a cloudy brain day I guess... I sent a friend to a discussion in the wrong county this morning, too!

The Leor - Forestar #1 Completion Packet

They named a new field: Steel Horse (Bossier)

The Steel Horse is a bar in the area.  Used to be the Ranch Club....

Must be a famous landmark in that neck of the woods...

No, they should have called it the Hilltop field, which references a no-longer operational watering hole.  4 wheel drive was often required to get there.

Supposedly South Lufkin has Bossier Sand on our mineral acres at Chandler Johnson A-19 that our family has not leased. We had been approached in 2010 but have heard nothing since then other than North Angelina County. Any updates from anyone?
Mike,

I appreciate your feedback. Encanna

that area for now.

Thank you,

Ryan
Just leased my land again. Is there any new action going on?
