I have several tracts of land that are unleased and have not been drilled. Does anyone know how many units in DeSoto there are that have not been drilled? The sections that I have are 21-11-14, 11-10-12 and 18-11-15.

Jay,

Yes, some sections have not been drilled in DeSoto Parish.  My best guess as to their identities (and I could be way wrong here, so others will certainly correct me) are:

2-14-14,   11-14-14,    34-14-16,    14-11-14,    10 through 13 of 10-12, 2,5,7,8,10,15,16,17,20,21,24,25,26,29,31,32,35 and 36 all in 11-11 (the lignite mine is in 11-11),   1,2,3,5,6,7,10,12,14 and 18 all in 10-11.

My data are a bit old, so there could be errors.  This map shows some the Haynesville wells to date:

add section 32-11-14

I am assuming you are talking about Haynesville wells.  If so, how  about 28 of 15-14,  35 of 12-12, and 6 of 15-13.

I also think 33-12-11 does not have a well.

there are about 5 sections in Stanley not drilled. BP was holding those sections with older Petit and Hosston well. Apparently BP farmed out the HS rights to Comstock, who has permits for each section. the third time HS permits have been issued. First 2 rounds expired (BP took them). i will be shocked if these don't expire as well.

2, 3, and 4 of 11-15, and the adjoining sections to the north.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.

This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
