Anyone noticed the very large transportation costs MRD is deducting from land owners.  Is this legal? Is this fair? Is this normal?  Seems like MRD is gauging land owners.

Yep, the new one works.  Thanks.

Not real good with adding files.

I am a bit surprised by the "Unfair Trade Practices" allegation.  Anyone on this site familiar with its use over a royalty payment dispute?

Thank goodness I leased to the company VLC who assigned to Wildhorse, I believe.  The landman was so helpful in giving us a no deduct clause without any trouble or having to go see a lawyer.  Its too bad the wells around Choudrant were no good.

VLC is a land company that takes leases for clients.  Some of their leases were assigned to Wildhorse and some to MRD, depending on location as you rightly point out.  I wouldn't go so far as to say that the Choudrant wells were "no good".  They are less productive than the wells in the Terryville Core particularly regarding the volume of liquids.  Being mostly "dry gas" they are simply less profitable in the current period of depressed natural gas prices.  With Range Resources taking over all MRD assets in Lincoln and Jackson, tentatively schedule for sometime this month, it will be interesting to see if they have any interest in Wildhorse's acreage.
