Here is the completion report for this well.
Relatively short lateral (6145') compared to what Comstock is presently doing but a very good looking well based on IP info.
Almost 5200# of proppant pumped per foot at 16,600' TVD. Max frac pressure of over 13,400#.
Bottom hole temperature of 357 degrees F.
Now to see how this well produces / declines in time.
Good first "swing" for Mitsui.
Thanks, Rock Man. The proppant load is impressive. About 30% greater than what I see in the Legacy Haynesville.
This well, Mitsui's Lipsey A 2H, has produced more than 1 million MCF in each of its first three full months of production:
Nice 90 day production volume and decline. I'm not familiar with the CONG system. Does it calculate using Mitsui's post production deductions and severance tax?
The CONG system is how production companies report their revenue to the Texas Comptroller's office. It shows production volume, gross sales, marketing cost, and tax (if any).

Thanks' for posting. Impressive well
Thanks, yes readable but lacking in the detail I was wondering about.

If you enter 301822 for the lease number, 2606 for the beg period, 2607 for the end period, and hit search, you can see the June and July numbers for this well.
Mitsui's marketing costs are running about $0.46 per MCF. Comstock is booking about $1.04 per MCF on their wells. Comstock owns the pipelines and the treatment plant. It seems clear they are padding the marketing costs, which means royalty owners who don't have cost-free royalty provisions are losing a significant portion of their potential royalties.
When I model post production deductions for gathering, treating and transportation here in the Louisiana Haynesville fairway I tend to be conservative and use 30 cents per mcf. I do know of one specific instance where $1.20 is charged. Few mineral lessors got an enforceable cost free royalty lease. And the operators nickel and dime them to death.
46 cents to $1.04 for marketing on top of the other deductions is highway robbery.
Cool, thanks. No post production deductions except for "marketing" and that expense is pretty stunning.
$486,757.57 and $560,201.51.
August production: 1,049,487 MCF. Four consecutive months above 1 million MCF. Best well to date in the Western Haynesville.
