Rick,
What section meeting was that where you heard about $27.5K/27.5%? TSP-RNG-SEC please? Any info on the leasing company and the size of the property? I think that is about equal to the highest offer I've read about for the Barnett Shale play. Those Barnett terms resulted from landowner groups holding out as much as 2 years and this Haynesville leasing has only been going on since about April (?) or 3-4 months.
Pretty exciting isn't it? Even if my co-worker (you know who I am talking about) claims this is no big deal and he says there will be alot of dry holes, still negative about the whole thing. Oh yea I forgot to mention us home owner's are the reason why gas is so high and it will also cause sink holes like in Florida. Comical isn't it?
Mr. Griffin, you have email at rgriffin333@yahoo, please let me know if it made it to you.
This web site is not more than 4 months old. I heard from an old experienced O & G man that we should all sit tight and wait.
I HEARD FROM (you know who). and he said old experienced O&G men are completely unreliable. Specifics!!!!!!!!!
Give us more specifics. Sounds too good to be true, but if you can furnish some supporting statistics, everyone would sure be interested in hearing them. There is an awful lot of hyperbole going on with this blog
SE Fort Worth to be exact. Location, Location, Location. I paid $750 in W. Parker Co less than 4 months ago
Did they forget to tell you Shell is leasing Sabine??
Haynesville,
Do you know of Shell getting aggressive in Sabine parish? I have not heard a lot lately other than the fact that there are bunch of landmen in the courthouse.
Don't worry.... Shell had a neighborhood meeting in the area of Sardus, Oak Grove, Midway road in Sabine two weeks ago. Standing offer is $10,000.00 ac with 25% royalties. I have not heard if any one has accepted. Everyone I know is playing the waiting game.

The spokesman said that Shell is interested in all of Township 9N and the upper (Northern) half of Township 8N

Did hear via a member of my extended family of a lease signed along Rales (sp) road south and east of Converse for $27,000/ac and 25%. I have no confirmation on this. Remember: this is the internet. Rumor Central!
I don't think Martin is a "problem". I like to read posts by those who are relaying information as they know it, just like all the rest of us. It was rumors of large bonus payments that I heard last month that got me started in my leasing.
amen brother!!!!!!!
