Lest We Forget! Dem's Desire "Socialized" Energy Sector

Hmmm... wonder if royalty owners mineral rights would be absorbed via "Emminent Domain"?

Wonder if Maxine Waters will renew her desires once gasonline prices start rising?

My aunt use to sell Earl's wife Blanche all her clothes at a high dollar womens clothing store in Crowley. One day Earl came in by himself and was buying clothes of a different size than his wife wore. My aunt said she jumped on him about it cause he was buying them for Blazse Starr.
Jim:

Your history lesson stops several years shy of the event that marked the beginning of the big change in control of the Party. The Party began this transformation from one controlled by the country club blue blood group in 1964 when Barry Goldwater beat Nelson Rockefeller for the nomination and culminated in 1980 with the election of Ronald Reagan who greatly broadened the base of the Party.

JM
Jim,

Whatever. I'll save my breath. You are hopeless.

Jay
Jim, Rush, Beck and Hannity were all against McCain during the primaries.
I think that not wanting to be president is what killed him. Most could read that in the way he spoke. Rove should not be the voice of the republican party. Until the 2 parties come closer to the center, I will not cast my vote for either.
While we are on presidential histories, let us take the history of one of your poor democratic presidents, Jim. Lyndon Johnson was backed by George Parr's Texas democratic machine in his run for the senate. He was also backed by the one of the famous Hunt brothers. He made his 2nd bid for the US senate seat in 1948. He was so popular that a lot of the dead returned to vote for him. He won. Johnson gave the contract to add on to the Corpus Christi Naval Station to some small time paving contractors. Their name: Brown and Root. Today, Johnson's heirs have the contolling shares of Halliburton who bought Brown & Root. Yes, Johnson started poor but he and his group wanted power just like the Rockefellers. The poor only benefited from Johnson's legislation as a side effect of him and his cronies benefiting. Johnson started the Great Society. Jim, all that did was put more people on welfare. Welfare is the biggest slave master ever created. Once on it, it becomes very difficult to get off of it. Then you have to vote for the politicians who will keep you on it. Welfare takes the spirit of a person away. It makes you lazy. It takes away ambition. Welfare gives you more money if you are single with children, so it destroys marriage and the family. I have personally seen what welfare does to the poor. By the way as an aside, one of the famous people that Johnson mentored was John Connoly, the govenor of Texas.
I have watched first hand what welfare has done to the last 2 generations of people where I grew up on the border. There was a time when poor people married, had children, and had pride. When I go home, I see young girls with babies using the food stamp card often. I was there in Jan. and EVERYONE ahead of me in a shopping line used a welfare card. EVERYONE. Most were in the 16-30 age group and ALL had at least 2 kids. There was no wedding ring on.
Wow Jim, I must have hit a nerve with you. Your anger is shouting through in your post. Are you liberal, Jim?
Hmmm!! Don't make assumptions about me Jim. I think everyone posting on here needs to listen to what Jim's inner feelings are. Just go to the hyper link in the above post from Jim and listen to what Jim thinks about when he reads my posts. Come to your own conclusions. Is he a class act or classless? You all decide
Susie:

jim does not like labels.

jim is just a little smarter, a little quicker, a little bit more profound.

jim does jim's labeling by proxy and obscure and not so obscure implication.

Susie, I listened to the link jim posted and the conclusion that I draw is that jim krow has call you a stupid bit*h.

jim, is stupid bit*h a label or just your estimation of Susie Brown?

Jay
He asked you, Susie B, several times to back off. You refused and persisted in assailing him. BTW, I liked the song; well mixed, well recorded and nice hook. I bought the download through itunes. And, Jay, do you plan to keep calling posters you disagree with stupid? Do you plan to continue to ask people who disagree with you if they are calling you a racist? The count thus far is pretty high.
Hi Bob, I'm sorry, who did I call stupid?

Jay
