I 'm glad..... but the record needs to be set straight, It was not an offer thats what I told him It would take for me to sign, I'll be glad when that offer comes along, he turned it around ..Its cool though I liked the attention while it lasted..LOL

The NY Times article was horrible!
It made it sound like we all live in rusty trailers and barely speak in coherent sentences.

Already, several dozen people who own parcels of land over the field are becoming instant millionaires as energy companies pay big money for the mineral rights to the gas, which like other energy sources is worth far more than it was last year. Jalopies are being traded in for Cadillacs, plans for swimming pools are being hatched in rusty trailers, and the old courthouse here is packed to the rafters day after day with oil company “landmen” (and women), whose job it is to frantically search the record books for the owners of the mineral rights to land that has become like gold.

Although it got turned around I 'm still broke and happy.If the offers dont get any better Its o.k. I have been blessed more than enough with my family I have had a rough past couple of years and managed to stay up and positive ....I wish I could have read some of the comments I made to him in the article but I guess he wanted to write what he wanted to.

I just think you are the coolest, Coonman!! I thought the article was great!! How often does the ArkLaTx get coverage like that...not to mention your picture being on the front page???? I just know that being able to "stay up and positive" is a blessing in itself. All of this Haynesville Shale stuff is so exciting to me...I am going to have to start setting my timer and limiting myself to the number of hours I have been spending on this site!!! I am having the best time!!! I do so enjoy reading everyone's postings and replies! I probably have read almost all of them already and have learned sooooo much!!
