This is an interesting unit application. Review it and let's discuss how it is different and what that difference may mean.

Industry members, I suggest that you give the non-industry members a shot at this one first. There are several interesting elements to this application.
I just wish I was Robert Legrande.
Don't we all. LOL!
Okay non-industry members, this is your last chance. Here's one hint: "sesport, I'm taking out my highlighter".
Jay. You're killin' me. LOL! NO! Okay, comments are now open to any member who might care to make one.
Encana's unit application includes Section 29 - 11N - 9W which is the first HA Drilling & Production Unit Order in that township. Thus a potentially significant extension of the Play on the SE edge. But there's more.
I don't like anticipation!
Me either olddog. I may have inadvertently intimidated the non-industry members, I hope not. I will not wait too long. In the next fifteen minutes, if there are no opinions offered, I will post what I think is most significant about this ENC unit application. And, if I am right, many members will be interested to see the outcome of this move by ENC.
Skip - Hold up ... The Pres. is talking about donut holes in the Health Care plans. Really, he said "donut holes." lol
In recognition of sesport's preoccupation with donut holes, I will reveal my analysis (educated guess) on the importance of these ENC units at 8:00 CDT. I can't believe that you're actually making me wait for the president to finish his broadcast. Where are your priorities, sesport? LOL!!!
Skip - Items #5&6 look odd to me, but I don't know why. Especially item #5, where it states that wells will be permitted no closer than 660 ft. from a competing unit well or item #6 where it states how the horizontal will be measired.

Then again, there was no mention made of the DHMO either. lol

You beat me to the punch about R9W, but nothing beats "donut holes."

Congratulations to R9W anyway, I'm sure they've been holding their collective breaths hoping against hope something would come their way.

:0)
Here is the final hint. The import of the ENC units applied for only becomes clear when plotted on at township/section grid. I currently have several clients in this quadrant of the Play and have all the township grids set out on one of my work tables.
