If you have land around the Olympia, did you get your letter today?

We got a letter today that indicates that Shell is getting ready to drill 25 wells in 25 sections around the Olympia. How long does it take to get the permits and then get the drilling started?

This is encouraging to me and makes me thankful I leased in May. Maybe leasing will pick back up in Sabine, since the Olympia was obviously a good well.

Thanks. I really appreciate it. Now... (and I've asked Jay), will Shell drill one vertical well, or will they come in and get serious and drill horizontals? Any insights from people in that area?
Thanks to all who replyed to this. Does anyone have the sections that were unitized around the Murray 31 well. I'm trying to figure out how much of T9N 11W is now unitized. Thanks.
I am in those unitized sections. My map indicates that sections 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 of T9, 11W are included. There was a total of 15 units. Also, I have a map that Sec 9 of T9, 11W for a single drilling and production unit, the Johnson DDDno. 2 Well.
Thanks for the info. This is what I needed
donna, will you please list all 15 units? thanks!
Yep, Les B got it. See below.

Thanks Les.
I am in Sec 6 of the 15 units that are unitilized. does this mean that even if the well was drilled on Murry tract I would grt royalaties from it?
I am new at this and don't know
Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks
Steve, each section is a separate unit so the well would need to be drilled in Section 6. Also, have you signed a lease agreement for your property?
yes signed in july 2007 100.00 per acre. what a bummer.
do you know when or if a well will be drilled. I know the application has been approved on 1-23-2008
Not so much of a bummer if you get a well. Thats why I said that I would like to be in your shoes in an earlier post. The bonus may sound good but the production may sound better. From what I hear these 2 wells are real good ones, yours may be better.
