An offer was made to a homeowner in the Beaver Creek subdivision by a local attorney in Minden. He would not tell who he was representing in the offer. The offer was $3000.00 which make me believe it may be an offer to flip and not from an oil and gas company. I do not know if the homeowner will accept but in my opinion it is way to low an offer for me to consider.

Hello Perry, I agree with you it is a much to low amount to consider at this time. If your friend in Beaver Creek wants to avoid being flipped or paying a percent of his bonus or royalties, please tell him about our meeting at Beech Springs tonight the 22nd at 6:30. We are a group in this area who are growing and forming committees and are a no fee no percent group. We want each person to receive every penny of their lease and royalty payments. We are only about a mile or so from him, he is welcome as well as you are Perry. Hope to all of you there tonight!

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.

This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
