Boardwalk Pipeline Partners is holding a non-binding open season until April 30 for its Borealis Project, which would expand the Texas Gas Transmission system by around 2 Bcf/d to boost natural gas takeaway from the Utica and Marcellus shales to the Gulf Coast. The proposed expansion would follow the existing pipeline corridor to minimize permitting and construction hurdles.
