JT. Are you referring to pre-conference notice letters to apply for Haynesville Drilling & Production units for the sections in 16N - 10W that you mention? If so, and you have copies of the letters, please consider posting them on the site. Thanks for the heads up.
We have property in section 9 &10 16N-9W. It is leased. When they first drilled the Loe well I was told that how prosperous that well was would determine if they actually drill in our section. I am hoping that we might get some good news this year.
The Loe 15H was potentialed on 12/16/09. You should not have to wait to much longer. Good Luck!
Sec 10 will have rig with in 2 months
New pads are being built in sections 7 and 12 along Lake Road.
Section 12 is in 16N-10W
Section 7 is in 16N-9W

Saw your post & was wondering on the 2 months if you know anything specific? We haven't heard anything about section 10 16n 9w.
CHK just started building location 16n-10w section 27 couple of days ago..........HK applied for unit in 28 couple of months ago.

Getting much busier in this area.

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
