Good job Katie.

This was an easy interview. But she always does well... even in the worst of circumstances.

Thanks for being here Katie.

too many hostile landowners with irrefutable facts behind them around here i'm afraid.

Chesapeake BROWNPOSTERS are in limited supply.

Good Luck to Ms. McCullin...

More often than not, Ms. McCullin is the only "voice" GHShalers hear "back" from in reference to their Chesapeake Energy Inc., et al, questions, problems and need for contact information.   In most instances she has responded to GHShalers requests, as opposed to her "employer."

I view her job as strickly a PR job, and I think she handles CHK "PR" much better than her "bosses," e.g., Mr. Chesapeake, Mr. Hoodwink, etc.

Katie's "troubleshooting" on GHS has been helpful to many CHK mineral owners.  We thank you.

Again, we wish you much success...

...Agreeing with Keith...  How about a "shout-out" for GoHaynesvilleShale.

Well, I appreciate everyone's kind words to me! I apologize for not saying hi to my GHS friends. I'll do a shout out next time. :)

As always, if there's ever anything I can do to help, that's why I'm here. Thanks!

ignoring how angry a lot of landowners are at chesapeake isn't going to make it all go away.  if that doesn't work you can always spend $500 on charity and get some press in a local paper.  oh wait.  that didn't work either.

being "nice" and reasonably proficient at your job does not excuse the actions of the company for which you work.

Agreed essay,

However... How many of U.S. need our jobs?  20 million U.S. Citizens who were employed before the 2008 Crash are still unemployed or under-employed.  No one employee is responsible for a CEO, CFO, COO, BOD's actions.  And most employees are not "insiders."  They don't know Company Secrets, and they don't make Company policy... They just lay low, keep their heads down, and do their jobs.   And Some make enough $$$ to keep "quiet" in public spaces.

"Insiders" talk and blow whistles when the risks of "exposure" no longer out weight the risks of keeping Companies, BODs and Executives "protected" and the "insiders" have had enough of protecting them.  It gets awfully hard to work for a Corporation for years and have to "perform" knowing/watching "wrongdoing."   Work life can be a Catch-22 and it can "Catch" any one of U.S.

There are very few of U.S. who have the #$%$$ to "expose" the "truth," and risk losing  job, income, anonymity, benefits, retirement, relationships, etc...and often risk ridicule and abandonment from others for doing so, i.e., Corporate-speak "we are all in this together" so don't "rock the gravy train."

Most employees don't have a clue as to a Company's private inner workings, they just do their jobs and go home.  They don't get paid to be a Company watchdog.

Eventually the private "actions of the Company for which you work" will have to correspond to their public "actions" or the Company will begin to suffer repercussions...As we are seeing in the case of CHK.

In this case, iMMostHO, Ms. McCullin is doing what she gets paid to do...her job.

you're selling it short, try 25mil+

i'm sure mrs. mccullin is a standup member of the community that is loves her friends and family and is loved greatly in return.  i do not in any way question her personal integrity nor ability to do her job effectively.

however, the fact remains that she is a public relations figure for a crooked company that is taking money out of the pockets of their landowners.  they don't use a gun or come in the dark of night but it's straight up thievery nonetheless.  she is sent out to make the entity behind this criminal behavior look good and will get no sympathy from me whatsoever on a professional level.

i shall go away again for a while, ttfn.

PR people are paid to be nice and comely. Often the spokesperson is so comely she/he develops a following. In some cases, the spokeperson is so effective they are praised and brownnosed by the marks. The fact that the brownnosed spokesperson is present and promises to give a "shout out" the next time a pitch is made does not hide the obvious. The only thing more lamentable than being a paid shill for corporate bandits is to be a naive follower of the shill. I do not know who some folks are trying to impress with their sweet comments but it is just too much sugar for the dime.

Glenn, you obviously have not read many of the discussions on GHS, or you are simply not considering them in your remarks. I see you just joined in July so maybe it is the former. It's not lost on anyone that Katie is CHK's PR rep for the Haynesville. For whatever reason, I'll let you assign the motive, Katie has chosen to interact with GHS site members. the feedback has been that she has been helpful to some folks on here. If the feedback were contrary to that, sentiments wouldn't be "sweet."

So, let me count the other companies that have voluntarily dove into discussions on GHS...1....

Only 1.

Every time we drive through a toll booth, my wife always tells me to nag the toll booth worker about the price of the toll (I confess I have done it), I always tell her, write a letter to the governor.
